The farmhouse is located in the Deux Sèvres department 79. It is near two main north/south autoroutes the A10 and A11 making it a convenient stopover heading south via Bordeaux to Spain or the Côte d’Azur, or north via Poitiers,

Tours, Orléans and Paris. The village is situated about 50 kms east of Niort.  It is about 1 1/2 hours to the Atlantic coast due west.
