I had never stayed at a hosts home with them before, let alone a naturist place - despite being a nudist for years - so I had my reservations.
However I needn't had been worried as Darrin and Chi were the perfect hosts. They made you feel so welcome that I didn't want to leave!
They are both so friendly and kind and it is clear they care very much about your well being and that you enjoy your stay.
I can't fault them on anything. The place is very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The location is great too - it was easy to walk into town through a beautiful park.
I really enjoyed Chi's legendary breakfast and it didn't disappoint. Chi also had no problem catering for my vegan preferences who h I was very grateful for.
This place is amazing. The hosts are amazing. I will definitely be back.

I'm looking forward to my fourth visit to the Hideaway which I hope will be very soon. I'm hooked and plan to return often. There's not much point in repeating the comments made by others - believe me they're all richly deserved by Darrin & Chi. I've used both rooms and they're equally comfortable, well-appointed and decorated. Looking beyond the home comforts, I love walking through the Gardens to catch a bus to Poole or to stroll down to the Bournemouth seafront. And a visit to the calm of Coy Pond 10 minutes up the road - bliss.

Darrin and Chi’s place really is the perfect hideaway. Feel free, as they both do, to be naked (almost) everywhere in the house and Pridely decorated garden! A friendly and chatty couple, they will make you feel relaxed and able to be more than just yourself. The best place to stay in Bournemouth (I’ve tried a few).

Perfection achieved in every aspect; booking in at The Hideaway isn't so much about finding a good place to stay but more about being accepted into the house and lives of two genuinely lovely people and feeing instantly at home. Darrin and Chi have crafted modern, stylish and comfortable accommodation for their guests. The bedroom is spotlessly clean, as is the entire house, and there is a calm and relaxing outside space to enjoy. It is very private and not overlooked at all.
Breakfasts comprise delicious food in generous portions expertly cooked by Chi. No two day's menu are the same and he is very open to requests. Dietary requirements and preferences are given full consideration. Breakfast is a real a treat!
It really was a wrench having to leave The Hideaway but I will definitely be returning.
(Regarding logistics, the fundamentals of booking accommodation online are handled with meticulous accuracy; communication is clear and timely with responses to messages being delivered rapidly. On arrival Darrin ensures maps and local information are made available and any questions about the area are answered.)

Have just made a return visit to Darrin and Chi's.
In a leafy residential area, the house is set back from the road to feel secluded and quiet.
Indoors it's spotless, stylish and brightly furnished.
Generous and friendly hosts and generous and tasty breakfasts.
The place is a five-star gaff.

I have stayed with Darrin and Chi for each of the last three Summers. I keep returning because they are such great company and are genuinely interested in making your trip the best possible, from suggesting things to do to suit your mood, making amazing breakfasts each day and having great chats about their travels. I made use of the private garden when it was too windy for Studland, and I spent almost every second I was there naked. Perfect!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this B&B in Bournemouth. The hosts were absolutely welcoming. We enjoyed many engaging conversations not only with them but also with fellow guests, which made the experience feel even more special.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a separate bathroom that was spotless—everything was impeccably clean. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast, lovingly prepared by the hosts, which set us up perfectly for the day. The B&B is located in a quiet, picturesque neighbourhood, ideal for a relaxing getaway. There’s so much to explore nearby: Bournemouth’s town and beaches, the stunning Studland Bay (including its naturist beach), the dramatic Old Harry Rocks, historic Corfe Castle, and the beautiful New Forest National Park. For those willing to venture a bit further, Stonehenge and the Cerne Abbas Giant are just about an hour’s drive away.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with warm hospitality and plenty of sights to discover.

I've just spent three nights here and have had a very, very nice time: the house is clean, big, comfortable and surprisingly quiet considering the location - the pictures don't really do it justice. The hosts make a stay even better: Darrin and Chi are wonderfully welcoming and helpful, you feel more like a guest/friend than a customer. Conversations flow with the other guests, and we ended up going to Studland together. Thanks!

We stayed with Darrin and Chi over the May Bank holiday weekend 2025 and had a great time.

Their home is clean , warm, welcoming and within easy reach of Studland Bay, the centre of Bournemouth & a short nice walk to the gay triangle.

Chi cooks an excellent breakfast!! We will be back!

We stayed with Darrin and Chi over Easter weekend 2025 and had a wonderful time. They made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and were able to recommend lots of things to do. The house is lovely and the walk into town through the gardens is a delight.
We will be back!

Two lovely hosts and a lovely place, very comfortable, spacious and secluded, including a nice outdoor space to enjoy the sun. Nudity possible throughout from arrival to departure. Highly recommended.
