I am sometimes available to join you to explore the city, show you the main tourist sites (I am not a local!), or join you for a nice beer, a day in the sun, or a night out.

I live in Berlin-Friedrichshain, close to many transport options, on the east side of the city. Walk to East Side Gallery, Volkspark Friedrichshain, or Berghain and the Lab are just around the corner. There are many shops and restaurants directly in the area.

The nearby train stations are Warschauerstr., Ostbahnhof, Weberwiese (U5), plus trams and buses. Time from the airport is around 25 minutes with connection at Ostkreuz. To the gay area in Schöneberg in 20min, Mehringdamm (Boiler) in 15min, to Alexanderplatz 10min.
The apartment is located on the 1st floor. It is in the back part of the building, so while the neighborhood is quite lively, the apartment is very quiet. You will find a living room, a bedroom as well as kitchen and bathroom. Unfortunately it is not possible to use the kitchen for cooking.
There is no shame and no closed doors. Feel like home!

Maximum of 1 guest - I can consider hosting a couple in some limited situations (I sleep on the couch, you can have the bed).

This is primarily to host people who like to get to know each other. If you will be busy all the time and just want a place to sleep, try a hostel.
